I converted this image to sound (one of my favorites I’ve taken recently), recorded it onto a microcassette, and re-recorded it back onto my computer. digital>analog>digital, just to see what the effect would be. Even considering the limitations of the microcassette format, the final result was still nothing at all what I expected. In the 4th one you can kind of make out the sign, that’s about as close as I got to a complete image.

Cool type treatment I thought I’d share.
Saw this cut out on the table in design class. I’d recognize that J anywhere!
Something new I thought to try: recording raw image data onto a microcassette and importing it back to my computer. This is my first try so far, but I plan on tweaking it until what I get back is a pretty honest interpretation of the original image. But it’s 4AM and I should get some rest. The data is 9 minutes long, so each attempt will be ~20 minutes to execute
Cool packaging for all these matches I got!
I made this weird thing last night. Trying to figure out if I can use it for anything…
I probably would have thought this was some kind of harsh chemicals cleanser if it were not for the text that says “STRAWBERRY SODA”
O god I have a problem
I just bought 12 bags of these online, since they’re all out at Vons and Target. I can’t bear the thought of waiting until next year. They are seriously the best candy.
